Snoop Dogg Live At The Fillmore Detroit

The Compton’s own Snoop Dogg came through Detroit as the last stop of his “I Want To Thank Me” tour last week. He brought with him some of his old school hip hop songs. Snoop came out supporting a Lakers jersey honoring the late Kobe Bryant who passed away that morning in a helicopter crash. Throughout the show Snoop Dogg also paid tribute to 2Pac, Nate Dogg, Notorious BIG and Nipsey Hussle. Snoop Dogg has been known to be part of the Long Beach Crips but in the recent years he has been spoken out about ending gang violence. Throughout the whole show he had blue and red bandanas tied together. Snoop started the show with the hit “Nuthin’ But A ‘G’ Thang” a cover by Dr DRE.. As the show went on Snoop Dogg showed love to many members of the rap community by covering a handful of songs from 50 Cent, Akon, NWA, 2Pac and House Of Pain he ended the show with his part of ‘Young Wild And Free’ by Wiz Khalifa.
